In 1896, The Jewish Sentiment absorbed The Jewish Echo (Montgomery, Ala.) (entry JA suppl.), probably effective with the issue for July 17 to become Jewish Sentiment and Echo given that the final issue of The Jewish Echo was July 10, 1896. The Jewish Sentiment and Echo was superseded in 1901 by the Southwestern Jewish Sentiment (Dallas).
